From an early age I have been fascinated with outer space and the universe (as can be seen in this picture of me at 5 years old). I grew up next door to George Lucas and remember the chills I got at 11 years old from that rebel starship passing over my head during the grand opening of Star Wars in a San Francisco Movie theater, I also was fascinated by 2001, A Space Odyssey at 7 years old, and have never stopped wishing for the stars. Today with so many advancements in the commercial aspects of space flight I think we are now able to include the average earth citizen, like you and me, in space exploration by offering them some “skin in the game.”
